I know a few I would like to see run for office! Predatorak off the other board is one I want to see run. We need someone that isn't afraid of these crooks.

I am running for Sheriff on the Republican Ticket. My name is Jeff Pennington and I will be holding meetings shortly to allow the people to voice their concerns about Perry County. I will update as soon as I get the definate dates.

I saw a partial list of the people who had already filed to run. Does anyone have the list? When is the deadline for filing?

Richard Miller(Retired KSP Trooper) is running for Sheriff under the Republican ticket.

He generally goes by Richie instead of Richard. He has been in law enforcement for many years. He opened up the shrubbery place at Dexter's old place on Hwy.15 but it didn't stay open long. Not sure why they closed. I've always thought that he was a nice person. He definitely has the qualifications for the job.
There are several that are qualified for this position. It's going to be tough this time. JMO

He has over 20 years of Law Enforcement expierence with the city,county,and state combined. He is a Christian Man who puts the Lord first in everything He does. He recently retired from the State Police and decided to run and try to change the sheriff's office into what it was intended to be.

Bubby filed for Magistrate. Happy Mobalini filed Ronald Combs for the same office. Guess the City is backing him. I guess the Hazard High kids get to party some more now
